This is one big fish.
Not that you are going to catch one on your rod and reel anytime soon, unless you are so manly that you use jellyfish as bait. The ocean sunfish (Mola mola) gorges itself on jellies - and to get up to 2200 pounds, you bettter believe it eats!
Yeah, it's a goofy looking fish, but if you were this much bigger than nearly any other swimming 'thing' in the ocean, you probably wouldn't care.
These divers happened to have the chance to swim alongside this Leviathan. I must admit, I much more enjoy seeing fish when they are out of the water on my fishing line than jumping into their turf. So I'd be a bit creeped out if I were down in the depths and came across an ocean sunfish. Give me a smallmouth bass any day of the week.
